Sergeant Chris Perket
I knew that I wanted to be a police officer since I was about twelve years old. I began my career in Law Enforcement in 1991 as an administrative assistant to the Chief of Police at the Town of Brookfield Police Department and at the same time I attended college for an associate’s degree in Police Science. In 1994 I was hired as a correctional officer with the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department. I worked there for three years and while working there I was hired as a Police Reserve Officer with the Village of Mukwonago Police Department. I entered the police academy in a part-time program which took two years to complete. As soon as I completed the academy, and was a certified police officer, I was hired by the Town of Mukwonago Police Department.
I began working for the Village of Eagle in December of 1997 under the command of Chief Hans Lux. I found that I loved working for a small village. I felt that I was able to make many personal connections to members of the community which in turn helped me to better serve the citizen’s of this community. I have worked for Eagle exclusively since 2001 and in December of 2004, following the retirement of Chief Hans Lux, and the promotion of Chief Russ Ehlers I was promoted to patrol sergeant. I find being a sergeant very challenging and rewarding. I truly enjoy working for the Village of Eagle Police Department and will continue to do so for many years to come.
